Tomatin distillery in Highland, Scotland
Highland, Scotland

Tomatin

Highland Heart, Japanese Soul

Built during the Victorian whisky boom, Tomatin expanded dramatically through the 20th century, reaching 23 stills by the 1970s. When the whisky market crashed, the distillery went into receivership.

The Japanese acquisition saved Tomatin and transformed its approach. Today, with careful cask selection and reduced production volumes, the whisky has earned critical acclaim as one of the Highlands' best-value single malts.
