Scapa
Orkney's Gentle Side
Founded in 1885, Scapa has had a turbulent history of closures and reopenings. The installation of a Lomond wash still in the 1950s — one of the last of its kind — gave Scapa its distinctive character.
After years of neglect, investment from Pernod Ricard revived the distillery. The current releases showcase a smooth, honeyed style that offers a wonderful contrast to Highland Park's heathery peat.

The Scapa Style
Smooth, honeyed, and subtly maritime. The Lomond wash still produces a lighter spirit than conventional stills, contributing to Scapa's gentle, approachable character.
