Nikka (Miyagikyo)

Nikka's Elegant Second Voice

Taketsuru spent years searching for the perfect second location before choosing the confluence of the Nikkawa and Hirose rivers in Miyagi. The softer water and milder climate produce a lighter style than Yoichi.

Miyagikyo also operates a Coffey grain still, producing Nikka's acclaimed Coffey Grain and Coffey Malt whiskies. The distillery is a complete whisky-making ecosystem.
