Glen Grant

Italy's Favourite Scotch

The Grant brothers built their distillery in Rothes with an innovative approach — tall stills with purifiers that strip heavier compounds to produce an exceptionally clean, light spirit. Major James Grant, the founder's son, was a flamboyant Victorian adventurer who installed a safe hidden in his garden where he kept a bottle of whisky for visitors.
