Edradour distillery in Highland, Scotland

Edradour

Scotland's Smallest Traditional Distillery

Edradour was founded by local farmers as a cooperative distillery in 1825, near Pitlochry in Perthshire. Its small scale made it an unlikely survivor through the industry's many crises.

In 2002, independent bottler Signatory Vintage acquired the distillery, investing in modernisation while preserving the artisanal character. The introduction of heavily peated 'Ballechin' expressions added a new dimension to the portfolio.
