Chichibu (Ichiro's)

Japan's Most Hyped Micro-Distillery

When the family's Hanyu distillery closed, Ichiro saved 400 casks of remaining stock and began bottling them as the now-legendary 'Ichiro's Malt Card Series.' He then built Chichibu from scratch in 2008, installing custom-made stills and reviving traditional floor malting.

Every release sells out instantly. The On The Way bottling hit auction records. Chichibu has become the most collectible whisky brand in the world, yet Ichiro remains focused on craft over hype.

The Chichibu Style

Intensely flavoured Japanese single malt with remarkable depth for its young age. Floor-malted barley, Mizunara casks, and Ichiro's blending genius create whiskies that punch far above their years.

Ichiro's Malt & Grain
