Benromach

Speyside's Smallest, Handcrafted Spirit

Benromach was silent from 1983 to 1998, when Gordon & MacPhail — the world's most experienced whisky bottler — rebuilt and reopened it. Prince Charles turned on the stills.

The decision to introduce light peat was intentional — reviving a pre-1960s Speyside style when most distilleries used some peat. The result is a malt with more character and depth than many Speyside neighbours.
