Balblair distillery in Highland, Scotland
Highland, Scotland

Balblair

One of Scotland's Oldest — Elegantly Modern

Founded by John Ross in 1790, Balblair moved to its current site in 1895, positioned next to the railway for easier distribution. The distillery achieved cinematic fame as a location in Ken Loach's film 'The Angels' Share.'

Under owner Inver House, Balblair's single malt releases have gained critical acclaim for their balance of fruit, honey, and gentle spice — a classic Northern Highland style that rewards patient appreciation.
