AnCnoc (Knockdhu) distillery in Highland, Scotland
Highland, Scotland

AnCnoc (Knockdhu)

Highland Light, Modern Bright

Knockdhu was built in 1894 by the Distillers Company Ltd, sited near springs emerging from the Black Hill (Cnoc Dubh). The distillery operated quietly as a blending malt for most of its life.

The rebrand to AnCnoc in 1993 coincided with a focus on single malt releases. The modern packaging and approachable style have won a new generation of fans who appreciate lighter, more nuanced whisky.
